All poultry from UIF Foods is hatched, raised and harvested in the EU. All live operations, which include feed mills, hatcheries, breeders and broilers, are based in the UK and EU.

We perform cage free live bird operations. The only time birds are in cages is during transport as a safety measure, to ensure the welfare of our birds from our farms to processing facility.
We manufacture our own feed, predominately made from organic corn and soybean meal in an inspected facility. The feed is carefully formulated by UIF Foods’ nutritionist to provide the poultry with all the required nutrients to ensure the birds are healthy and stress free. No antibiotics, steroids or hormones are ever used in the production of UIF Foods’ poultry feed. Only carefully screened quality ingredients from select vendors are used in the production of our poultry feed.
UIF Foods uses antibiotics at levels for therapeutic use to treat or prevent illness and disease. In the event a poultry flock must be treated, UIF Foods follows all regulations regarding the use of antibiotics and adheres to all regulated withdrawal periods.
UIF Foods purchases feed ingredients from commercial suppliers. We do not use genetically modified varieties of corn or soybeans in purchased commodities. Any genetically modified grain that may be included in the feed stocks would only be from varieties approved by UK and EU agencies for use in animal feed.
